Let us bring you through a few things you will need to know on the event day.
1. Click on ‘Start Event’ under the menu to start registering guests
You will brought to a page like this. Left side bar is where you will search for guests. The space in the middle can be used to display your table layouts.
2. Register guests by clicking on their names
If you are on a laptop, double click to pull out a menu to edit or unregister. If you are on mobile, swipe left to pull out the same thing. The number of green dots signifies the number of people that registered under the main guest.
3. Edit guest details on the fly
Change the particulars of the guest, or where he/she is sitting by double clicking (on laptop) or swiping left and click on ‘EDIT’. You can remove the guest (if they’re not attending the event anymore) or save their updated particulars.
4. Use the search bar to find your guest quicker
You can search for your guests by searching partially for their names, or go to Tables and see who’s seating at which table.
You can also search in Pin Yin for Chinese names. For example, for 王小明，you can search ‘wang x’ or ‘wxm’ as an abbreviation for that guest.
5. Add guests, Refresh and HelpUse the “Add guest” button to register unexpected guests. A form will appear to gather the details of this new guest.
“Refresh” the page if lose connection to the internet. The guest list will update to the latest version if you have more than 1 device concurrently. Note: The page updates even without refreshing. Use the “Refresh” button if you find that the data is not synchronised.
Clicking the “Help” button will bring up an interactive guide to teach your ushers on the basics of guest registeration.
6. You are good to go!
